  • "...carry on Thy Kingdom in believers' hearts" (Whitefield)

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Oh that the Lord may revive His work in the midst of the years. The world is now up in arms. Blessed Jesus, whilst the kings of the earth are striving to extend their dominions, do Thou secretly carry on Thy Kingdom in believers' hearts, till the earth be filled with the knowledge of Thee, our Lord, as the waters cover the sea!

    –George Whitefield, April 14, 1740

He put another parable before them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his field. 32 It is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown it is larger than all the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches. 33 He told them another parable. The kingdom of heaven is like leaven that a woman took and hid in three measures of flour, till it was all leavened.

    –Matthew 13:31-33

Oh that Thou, O Lord, may revive Thy Kingdom work in us in the midst of the years. The world is now up in arms. Blessed Jesus, whilst the kings of the earth are striving to extend their dominions, do Thou secretly carry on Thy Kingdom in our hearts, till we be filled with the knowledge of Thee as the waters cover the sea! Blessed Jesus, do Thou secretly carry on Thy Kingdom in our hearts, so we might be sent out with Your Kingdom seed and leaven to the ends of the earth, that the earth be filled with the knowledge of Thee as the waters cover the sea! Blessed Jesus, do Thou secretly carry on Thy Kingdom in our hearts, so we might be become Your Kingdom seed and leaven to the ends of the earth, that the earth be filled with the knowledge of Thee as the waters cover the sea!

Show us, O Lord, those parts of our hearts where we have not yet welcomed Your Kingdom.
May You carry on Your Kingdom work in our hearts and extend Your rightful dominion in us.
Send us, O Lord, to those parts of the earth that have not yet welcomed Your Kingdom.
May You carry on Your Kingdom work and extend Your rightful dominion throughout all the earth.

"he called it the tent of meeting..."

I am burdened to pray to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ for the reformation and reviving of Christ's church.

The phrase tent of meeting comes from Exodus 33:7: Now Moses used to take the tent and pitch it outside the camp, far off from the camp, and he called it the tent of meeting. And everyone who sought the Lord would go out to the tent of meeting, which was outside the camp.

This site is devoted to God first and foremost. In all that is done here, my prayer is that God is glorified and His Name magnified and Christ and Him crucified is lifted up so He might be preeminent and God might receive all the praise, honor and glory due His Holy Name. All who have come to a saving knowledge of our Father by grace through faith in the all-sufficient sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ are welcome to enter this tent of meeting to seek the Lord.

This blog is a place for all believers in the Lord Jesus Christ to come and seek God's face for revival. My intention is for this tent of meeting to be a holy place where we can enter into PRAYER together to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, as the Holy Spirit leads you, please enter into prayer either here (think of "comments" as prayers) or on your own.

Habakkuk 3:2 O LORD, I have heard the report of you, and your work, O LORD, do I fear. In the midst of the years revive it; in the midst of the years make it known; in wrath remember mercy.
