  • forgive us for not hallowing Your Name - not unto us, but to YOUR Name give glory

For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: 27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; 28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: 29 That no flesh should glory in his presence. 30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: 31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. I Corinthians 1:26-31, KJV

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. II Corinthians 4:7, KJV.

Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory, for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness! Psalm 115:1, ESV.

    Please read Psalm 29.

After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts...Matthew 6:9-12, KJV.

    God our Father,

YOU are the source of our life in Christ Jesus, whom You made our wisdom and our righteousness and sanctification and redemption.

We were dead. We were foolish, weak and base, and You have chosen us.

We have no reason to hallow our name, but only Yours.
We have no reason to boast in ourselves.
We have no reason to glory in ourselves.
We confess that too often we hallow our name, not Yours.

We confess we have hallowed our name and not Yours.
We confess that we have boasted in ourselves.
We confess that we have gloried in ourselves.
We confess that we have hallowed our name and not Yours.

Forgive us, Father, for not hallowing Your name.
Forgive us, Father, for boasting in ourselves.
Forgive us, Father, for glorying in ourselves.
Forgive us, Father, for hallowing our name and not Yours.

YOU are the source of our life in Christ Jesus, whom You made our wisdom and our righteousness and sanctification and redemption.

We were dead. We were foolish, weak and base, and YOU have chosen us.

Therefore, we can only boast only in YOU, only in YOU, only in YOU! May we glory only in YOU, only in YOU, only in YOU! We have this treasure in jars of clay to show that the excellence of the power may be of YOU, and not of us. Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to YOUR Name give glory, for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness! May YOUR Name be hallowed, not our name!

You have created us for YOUR glory.
May our whole lives bring glory to YOU alone!
May our whole lives hallow YOUR name alone!

For from YOU and through YOU and to YOU are all things. To YOU be glory forever.
    Amen.

    Children of the heavenly Father,
all who have been washed with the precious blood of Jesus,
all who have been quickened by the life breath of the Holy Spirit,
confess how you've not brought glory to Him alone and
join with me in ascribing to Him the glory due His Name!
May our boast and glory be only in Him!
May we hallow His Name alone!
    Amen.

  • My Father, thank You for showing me I am nothing apart from YOU, for it is then I can only boast in YOU. I confess to often I begin to think I am something and begin to boast in myself. Whenever I begin to think I am something, bring me to my knees once again and show me I am nothing! I thank You for tenderly dealing with me and forbearing with me in love and mercy for Jesus' sake. Help me to always make my boast in YOU. Help me to only glory in YOU and YOU alone. To ascribe to YOU and to YOUR Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, all my praise all my days.

Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.

Father, You are so good to us, You have been so good to me. I love You because You first loved me! I was not worthy and You set Your love on me. I was not lovely and You loved me. Help me to love You as I ought.

    Amen.

  • My Father, equip me with Your Holy Spirit boldness and strength me to keep hallowing YOUR Name alone, to declare YOUR salvation is of CHRIST alone and is not of us, no matter the cost to me. Help me to endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ, so YOUR Name and the Name of JESUS would be hallowed and lifted up for there is no other name under heaven or earth by which we must be saved, and there is no other Name worthy of all praise, honor and glory but Your beautiful Name, O my Savior and Redeemer and Sustainer! Salvation belongs to YOU and to the LAMB! Our salvation is all OF YOU, THROUGH YOU and TO YOU, to YOU alone be glory forever. Amen.

"he called it the tent of meeting..."

I am burdened to pray to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ for the reformation and reviving of Christ's church.

The phrase tent of meeting comes from Exodus 33:7: Now Moses used to take the tent and pitch it outside the camp, far off from the camp, and he called it the tent of meeting. And everyone who sought the Lord would go out to the tent of meeting, which was outside the camp.

This site is devoted to God first and foremost. In all that is done here, my prayer is that God is glorified and His Name magnified and Christ and Him crucified is lifted up so He might be preeminent and God might receive all the praise, honor and glory due His Holy Name. All who have come to a saving knowledge of our Father by grace through faith in the all-sufficient sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ are welcome to enter this tent of meeting to seek the Lord.

This blog is a place for all believers in the Lord Jesus Christ to come and seek God's face for revival. My intention is for this tent of meeting to be a holy place where we can enter into PRAYER together to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, as the Holy Spirit leads you, please enter into prayer either here (think of "comments" as prayers) or on your own.

Habakkuk 3:2 O LORD, I have heard the report of you, and your work, O LORD, do I fear. In the midst of the years revive it; in the midst of the years make it known; in wrath remember mercy.
